A kaleidoscopic rebrand for Nala Deodorant, merging love, science, and sustainability into a hopeful, sensorially rich packaging system.

The rebrand of Nala Deodorant began not with packaging, but with people—specifically, a mother and daughter rebuilding from the loss of their father, Alan (Nala, spelled backward). His kaleidoscope became the project’s emotional and visual anchor—a symbol of shifting perspectives, healing, and hope.

We translated this metaphor into a vibrant, modular packaging system—each deodorant a prism of emotion and efficacy. Layered colors signal formula strength and scent, referencing co-founder Mila’s biotech background and commitment to transparency. A tactile Fedrigoni FSC-certified stock and blind-debossed logo offer a human touch—Alan’s fingerprint, pressed quietly into every detail.

The vessel itself was the outcome of a two-year sustainability search. Rejecting buzzworthy trends in favor of what’s truly circular, we chose 100% post-consumer recycled PP mono-material—fully recyclable, cost-accessible, and functional for daily use. No compromise, just clarity.

This is packaging that plays, informs, and cares. A packaging system that can evolve without excess. It reflects Nala’s core values: science, sustainability, and soul. Through design, we helped transform loss into legacy—each product a daily reminder that love and care can be radical tools for change.
