Rooted in the belief that brand is not just seen but felt, our work with Rowan began as a quiet return—to nature, to community, to a more intentional way of living. We shaped Rowan not as a logo or colour palette alone, but as an ecosystem brand: one that breathes, listens, and evolves. We created a brand identity that moves with humility and purpose—anchored in place and rich with emotional resonance. The wordmark we designed stands with strength and stillness, evoking architectural integrity while nodding to the horizon lines of Parksville’s shores. A custom visual language emerged, grounded in expansive simplicity, quiet typography, and the textures of natural materials—each element designed to offer a sense of calm and presence.
Our team led art direction across all touchpoints: a full-scale photo and video shoot on the land and with the community, immersive soundscapes, custom colour palettes inspired by the forests and tidepools, and printed collateral that holds warmth in hand. Through every photograph, word, and layout, we sought to honour the balance between the built and the wild—to let nature take the lead.
This ethos extended into digital and spatial experiences: a website that feels like an exhale, signage that orients through beauty and clarity, and presentation centre materials that educate and inspire. Together, these pieces form a body of work that doesn’t just present Rowan—it embodies it.
